Ms. Suarez has been with the firm since her admission to the bar in 1981 after graduating from Rutgers College and Rutgers Law School-Newark. She has been responsible for real estate, corporate and commercial law matters including complex financing. She has also handled all aspects of the development of real estate, including but not limited to, condemnation, zoning, planning, traffic and environmental issues. As to commercial and corporate law, her involvement has included stock or asset acquisitions, the disposition of corporations, the formation of limited liability companies or partnerships, the acquisition of partnership assets, and negotiating building contracts and commercial leases. She has also been responsible for handling state and federal litigation at both the trial and appellate levels. She has litigated substantive matters involving the areas of contract, insurance, bankruptcy, Uniform Commercial Code, consumer fraud, real estate, declaratory judgment, equity, constitutional law, negligence, matrimonial and employment discrimination.

In 2012 Ms. Suarez was a speaker at the New Jersey State Bar Association Annual Convention on the topic of recent trends in real estate leasing. Starting in 2009 through 2011 Ms. Suarez was a guest lecturer for two real estate courses on condemnation and environmental issues at Lehigh University, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. In 2010 Ms. Suarez was recognized by the NJBIZ publication at its inaugural Nonprofit Innovation Awards ceremony for board member excellence. The Union County Commission on the Status of Women recognized Ms. Suarez as one of its 2009 Women of Excellence. In 2008 Ms. Suarez was inducted into the Hall of Fame of Bayonne High School, Bayonne, New Jersey.

In 2008 Ms. Suarez was recognized by Executive Women of New Jersey at its Salute to the Policy Makers awards event and was featured in a radio spot by WCBS AM 880 and two in depth television interviews by UPN My 9 News and Channel 12 News. In 2007 the National Association of Women Business Owners - North Central Jersey Chapter, in conjunction with the Silberman School of Business at Fairleigh Dickinson University, bestowed upon Ms. Suarez its Woman of Inspiration - Corporate Award. In 2007 Ms. Suarez was also recognized by the NJ BIZ publication as one of New Jersey's Best 50 Women in Business. In 2006 Ms. Suarez was a lecturer for the New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education on real estate matters. In 2003 Ms. Suarez was recognized by the Women's Fund of New Jersey as an outstanding Woman in Real Estate.

Ms. Suarez was a member of NJ 300, an organization sponsored by the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce comprised of New Jersey's most powerful and influential women, and was a member of its Steering Committee. NJ 300 merged with Executive Women of New Jersey, and Ms. Suarez is Board Secretary, is a member of its Program Committee and chaired its Governance and Bylaws Committees. She is serving on the Supreme Court Committee on Women in the Courts and is a member of its Law School Education Subcommittee. She is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and a member of its Board of Consulters, Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section, is its Real Estate Legislative Coordinator, and the Editor of its newsletter. Ms. Suarez is also a member of the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association, served as general counsel, served as vice-chair of its Judicial Outreach Committee, and is co-chairperson of its Scholarship Program in conjunction with the annual Women's Initiative and Leaders in Law Platinum Gala. Ms. Suarez also belongs to the Essex County Bar Association and is a member of its Real Property Section. She is also a member of Industrial Commercial Real Estate Women, NJ Inc. She is a past president, was presented with ICREW's 2007 Star Performer Award, and served on its board for more than a decade.  In 2008 Real Estate New Jersey magazine included Ms. Suarez when it recognized New Jersey's 43 Best Real Estate Attorneys. Ms. Suarez was also featured in the December issue of Real Estate New Jersey for 2007, 2008 and 2009 when it recognized Women of Influence in New Jersey's real estate industry. In June 2009 Ms. Suarez was recognized by Primewoman e-magazine for its profile: "Following the Passions of Four Women Leaders." In October 2008 Ms. Suarez was recognized by Commerce, the Business of New Jersey Magazine in its profile of five women of influence entitled: "The Road to Success for Women Business Leaders is About Traveling Together, Never Riding Alone."

In 2006 Ms. Suarez was asked to join the Board of Women's Fund of New Jersey, a non-profit organization. She was chairperson for events in November 2006, December 2006, November, 2008 and January 2010. In 2007 Ms. Suarez became a member of the Women's Fund Executive Board and served as Board Secretary until 2010. In 2008 Ms. Suarez became a member of the Advisory Board for MZM Construction Co. of Newark, New Jersey. In January, 2011 she was asked to join the board of Women Rising, Inc., a Hudson County based non-profit, and serves on its Fund Development Committee.
