Mr. Faul was admitted to the New Jersey State Bar in 1986 and has been practicing since that time in the areas of complex commercial litigation, closely held/oppressed minority shareholder disputes and general corporate, fraud and environmental litigation. He is also admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and State of New York. He graduated from Franklin & Marshall College and received his law degree from the Dickinson College School of Law. He prepared for college at Blair Academy. He is an active member of both the New Jersey State and Essex County Bar Association Equity Jurisprudence committees, and as past Chairman of the Essex County Bar chapter, he has been a speaker on the following topics: "Attachments: How to Obtain Them and How to Avoid Them," December 6, 1994; "Trade Secret and Restrictive Covenant Litigation in New Jersey," October, 1994; "Identifying Common Fraudulent Schemes in and out of Bankruptcy," November, 1995; "Litigating Fraud and Misrepresentation Claims Involving Real Estate Transactions in the State and Bankruptcy Court," June, 1996; "Successfully Litigating the Closely Held Corporate Dispute When Those in Control Have Engaged in Fraud and Mismanagement;" and "The Entire Controversy Doctrine and Attorney Malpractice," March, 1997. For the New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education, he has been a speaker on the following seminar topics: "Litigating Fraud and Mismanagement Disputes in Closely Held Corporations," Spring, 1995; and "Criminal and Civil Aspects of Business Fraud," Spring, 1997. He also serves on the Chancery Division Early Settlement Panel, and was Chair and a member of the Supreme Court of New Jersey District Fee Arbitration Committee, Essex County, District V-C, West Essex. Mr. Faul co-authored, with Robert DiPasquale, CPA, CFE, of J. H. Cohen, an article titled "A Minority Shareholder's Inspection Rights Under N.J.S.A. 14A:5-2," which was published in the August, 2000 issue of New Jersey Lawyer - The Magazine. This article is now cited in the permanent edition of N.J.S.A. 14A: 5-28, and was recently cited in the University of Oklahoma Law Review article, "Oklahoma Shareholder and Director Inspection Rights: Useful Discovery Tool?" by Johnathan D. Horton.
